Electoral Map


The election for the next President of the United States of America will be held on Nov. 4th (Mr. Kramer's birthday). Presidential elections are not as simple as "whoever gets the most votes wins". There is something called an Electoral College, which actually elects the President. "Electors" are appointed by state based on population. The voters in each state vote to send their "Electors" to the "College" to cast a vote for their canidate. A canidate must recieve 270 Electoral votes to win. Here you can look at what current polls indicate for the 2008 Presidential Election, as well as taking a look back in time at all the previous elections. Basketball tryouts

Basketball Tryouts are here!
Starting next week all jr high and some 5th grade boys are invited to try out for the new jr high boys basketball team. Tryouts will be from 3pm to 4:30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and 3pm to 4pm on Thursday with our first official practice on Friday.
I'm looking forward to seeing all boys who want to play this year at our tryouts. Even those that may be playing other sports right now should try out this week and then can be ready to practice and play with us when those other sports are done.
